Also within the walls of the institution at 12:00 a minute of silence was announced, honoring the memory of the victims of the crimes of genocide.
The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the population about possible ways and methods to improve the efficiency of energy use, including in everyday life, which is one of the important measures to improve the welfare of citizens and the economic growth of the country as a whole.
The promotion will last until November 11th.

At the award ceremony, the Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Kovalchuk addressed the participants of the competition.
“Today we saw how our results in shooting have grown. We are improving and preparing, and then we will complicate the competition. Next, there will be standing air rifle shooting, which will be held in December,” Sergey Mikhailovich noted.
“I would like to congratulate you all on the upcoming holiday – the Day of the October Revolution. We must remember and honor our history, and we attach all these events to state holidays. In modern conditions, we must remember this, and through sports, we are obliged to educate our young people. I congratulate the winners and participants of the competition. See you again!”, – said the Minister.
In 2023, the Republic of Belarus will host the II Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In this regard, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus together with the State Institution “Belsportobespechenie” announces the Republican contest “Visual image of the II Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2023 in the Republic of Belarus”. The procedure for organizing and holding the competition are determined by the Competition Regulations.

On behalf of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Vikentievich Dorohovich, First Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism, took part in the meeting of the Council.
In accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the Council was provided with information on the preparation of Belarus for the II Games of the CIS countries, which will be held in Belarus from 3 to 15 August 2023.
Alexander Dorohovich noted that Belarus has significant experience in holding major sports competitions. He stressed that Belarus will do everything necessary to ensure that the II Games of the CIS countries, which will be held not only in Minsk, but also in all regional cities of Belarus, are organized at the highest level.
Alexander Vikentievich also noted that Belarus has modern sports facilities and invited athletes from the CIS member states to conduct joint training camps on the eve of the 2024 Summer Olympics, as well as to participate in competitions held in Belarus (almost all events have the status ” open”).
During two competitive days, sports and tourism workers defended the honor of their institutions and fought for victory in 17 sports.
On the 2nd day of the Spartakiad, the participants competed in the “Laser Run” discipline, which is a relay race in running and shooting from a laser pistol, and also competed in dragon boat races.
As part of the closing ceremony of the Spartakiad, the solemn awarding of winners and prize-winners took place.

1st September, in honor of the start of the new academic year, the Minister of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Sergei Kovalchuk visited the institution “Belarusian State University of Physical Education” and met with students.
The meeting began with a solemn speech by Sergei Mikhailovich:
“I would like to wish the young guys to be true patriots of their country, sensitively absorb everything that the teachers here pass on to you. Great sportsmen came out of these walls of our illustrious educational institution, who proudly carried the banner of Belarusian sports at many competitions and arenas. Happy holiday and a fruitful school year!”
Then the rector of BSUPC Sergei Repkin delivered parting words.
“I would very much like that upon graduation from our institution, many of you will be included in the annals of our university as renowned specialists in your field. Be happy and good luck in your studies.”
After the end of the solemn line, the Minister of Sports and Tourism, together with students and faculty, attended a history lesson “Historical memory – the road to the future” from the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in video format.
On the Day of Knowledge in all schools and universities of the country, the topic of the first lesson was devoted to historical memory.

– We are trendsetters, so we showed all the participants of the competition, the organizers who brought the guys here, the heroic value of the Brest Fortress, the entire Belarusian people. I think that our young guys and girls have achieved a high result. I sincerely congratulate the entire Belarusian people, because we managed to hold a good international competition at a high level once again, said Vadim Sinyavsky.
– Children are a special category in our sport. Relatively recently, we began to hold such international competitions. This is a completely new and unique story in the development of sports. Every time I admire and am surprised by the great passion to love my job, to love my deal, to love my neighbor, and all this is expressed on the treadmills of fire and rescue sports, Alexander Chupriyan stressed.
According to the results of a hard struggle, the places among young men and juniors were distributed as follows:
1st place – the Russian Federation;
2nd place – the Republic of Belarus;
3rd place – the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Among girls, juniors:
1st place – the Republic of Belarus;
2nd place – the Russian Federation;

On this day, a demonstration of the capabilities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units and a concert program took place.
